Brian May 2022 Submission

Of course, I have to wait until the last day of May. I finished this painting on May 11th, but I couldn't find it for a while. I was busy with other things, such as school.

I painted this with watercolor brush pens I got as a birthday gift.

A Kind Of Magic - Freddie

This is my submission for what could have been Freddie Mercury's 75th birthday. Hard to believe he's been gone for almost 30 FUCKING YEARS!

I always liked the album cover and music video for "A Kind Of Magic". This art style was produced by the Walt Disney Company.

I have decided to recreate it, but only Freddie, as he isn't being covered up.

Deacy and Greg

John Deacon is turning 70 today, which means he's not 69 anymore. :(

I've always wanted to draw my favorite 70s striped shirts.

If you REALLY want to read the upside down text, just download the image, open it, and choose the printer icon. Once the picture has been printed, flip the paper 180 degrees! A 180 degree rotation can change everything!

Refrence points:

Greg's navy and white striped sweater, which was his default outfit in the 3rd season of The Brady Bunch. Starts off with thick stripes, that get thinner as you go down.

Deacy's striped sweater, which is just like Greg's, but reversed. Starts off with thin stripes, that get thinner as you go down.

Happy birthday to my second favorite member of Queen!

I'm in college now, so I really should go back to studying and doing work.

Roger rips off his shirt

Roger Taylor, the feisty drummer of Queen was born 72 years ago today. He shares a birthday with Mick Jagger and my mom.

Here he is ripping off his shirt for the fangirls. It took me 30 minutes to draw.

Brian May the INFJ

Are you familiar with the Myers-Briggs types? (MBTI) If so, then what are you? Because I seem to fluctuate between INFP and INFJ. However, I seem to be INFP most of the time. I've always been a strong NF.

Some people would type Bri as ISFJ or maybe even INTP, but he seems more INFJ to me. This picture will have old Bri. He is turning 74 this year. Happy early birthday, I guess.

Animal Crossing - Ages of Villagers

You’d think that because the villagers live in houses that they’d be accomplished adults. But their houses only consist of one room. And have you seen how some of those rooms look? Take Dizzy’s room, for instance. That’s clearly a child’s room.

The age is never actually explicitly stated, but some hints are in how they act, how they look, their species, and what their values are.

Lazy villagers act like children. Peppy villagers act like teenagers. Cranky villagers act like older men. But that’s just mental age. There’s more to it! So I’m going to say what I BELIEVE how old several Animal Crossing villagers are.

The uchis, as they are implied to be “big sister”, are all older than me, but not by too much. I’m 18 so I’d put them at 19 minimum. Cherry is one of the younger uchis, at around 22. Hazel seems to be in her early 20s. Shari and Reneigh, on the other hand, seem about 26. Phoebe is around 25. Rocket seems like she’s about 40 though.

Dobie is clearly elderly. He’s a retired detective that looks like he smells like an ashtray. He’s between 70-80. Lobo is pretty old looking too, and I’d put him around 60. Fang is at least 100. Actually, I think ALL the wolves are old as fuck. This includes Audie, even though she’s technically a fox. She’s based off an 88 year old grandmother.

Bianca is clearly 16. She’s proved that she’s independent, even though she has the room of a typical 16 year old and she even aspires to be a singer. What 16 year old ISN’T like that?

Genji is around 21. He seems fairly young. Snake is around that age too. I’d say that Julia the trans peacock is around that age too.

All the chicken are somewhere between 30-39. The youngest two are Egbert at 30 and Goose at 31.

Rolf has proved that he’s as old as a fossil. He and Bianca are not related. Rolf is an albino tiger and Bianca is a snow leopard.

Cheri is a 17 year old high school student. Hamlet is also, without a single doubt, a high school student.

Ankha is 3,000 years old, obviously. She’s from ancient Egypt.

Clay is a living, breathing fossil from the Mycenaean period. He might as well be the oldest villager, even though he’s mentally a child.

Sherb has a lot of wisdom, but he is babie. He could be as old as 17, but it’s hard to tell.

Raymond is in his late twenties. Bob and Punchy are stoner kids in college.

Zell wants to keep his age a secret, but I’m going to make a guess. He just turned 24! He’s a young rich gay actor who seems to have his shit together. As per Lopez, he is of similar age. Marshal appears to be 21.

Vic has mentioned that he had parachute pants when he was a kid, those took off in the 80s. I’d precisely put his year of birth as 1973.

Apollo’s birth year is no surprise - 1776.

All the female kangaroos are single mothers, being in their late 20s. Rooney is around 40 and Walt is around 60.

Zucker is about 12 or 13. He has the curiosity of an adolescent.

Stitches and Filbert are both 10. LOL. Camofrog and Octavian are clearly boomers.

I like to think Al as having a master’s in Entymology or some shit. He’s still pretty young though, so I’d say he’s 25.

Opal says she’s of distinguished age. She seems to be in her upper thirties, so not quite middle-aged yet.

Normal villagers all seem to be accomplished adults. Twenties at average. Marina seems to be about 23. Fauna is definitely 20.

Patty is the oldest cow at 29. Norma is next at 28, then Tipper at 27, and Naomi is the youngest at 26.

Judy is 32. Even though I generally see the Cubs as younger than the bears.

O’Hare is about 38. He gives off divorced dad energy. So does Tom, in fact.

Static is a middle aged metal head. Peewee is a 63 year old drummer. Yuka is definitely an older woman.

Dom is around 18. He looks like he’s crying all the time.

Sprocket and Ribbot are 2. Because they are robots.

Cyd is in his 40s. Beau is a young, charming 18 year old. Coco is ancient, so I’m just going to say she is 1,000 years old..

That’s all I have for now. Even though I think most of them are hundreds of years old. Like the little girls from Touhou who are actually 2,000+ year old demons.

Brian May 2021 submission

I realize that May is almost over. The problem is, I've been very busy this month. I didn't even have time to color it in.

This is Brian May as if he were in Animal Crossing. I made him a lazy villager because of his childlike qualities.

Here's the ACNH personality types briefly described from my experience.
  • Cranky: Crankies used to actually be cranky. Now they're just nice old men. They have lower pitched voices when they sing. Most of the wolves have this type.
  • Snooty: Like crankies, snooties used to be much meaner. Snooty has always been my least favorite personality type. They appear to be vain and sophisticated women.
  • Lazy: Lazies will often act childish, and that's why it's my favorite personality type. They also talk about bugs and snacks.
  • Normal: All normal villagers are kind and very easy to get along with. Many of them are bookworms. The cutest villagers are of this type.
  • Smug: All smugs are described as rich young men with the egos of peppies. They also fail miserably with foreign languages. Out of all personalities, they are definitely the gayest.
  • Peppy: If I was a villager in Animal Crossing, I would have the peppy personality. They are always hyper and often dramatic. They are teenage girls that dream of becoming pop stars. At times, they use 1970s slang words that Greg Brady would use.
  • Jock: Jocks constantly talk about working out. In my opinion, they have the cutest voices. My favorite quote is "I get all my clothes a size too small in attempt to look swole." -Hamlet (Happy Birthday!)
  • Uchi/Sisterly: Uchis are notorious for being night owls. They are tomboyish and they act like your big sister. They often give off former scene kid vibes. I don't know if this is just a Cherry thing, but uchis also love talking about flowers.

Animal Crossing + PMS

When I was playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons today, I was talking to people. I found basically everyone except for Cherry. Cherry is my favorite. I didn't want to look hard at first, but fast forward a few hours, I did. I looked everywhere. No sign of her. Not in her house. I start to get worried.

So I write everyone letters. "Wanted Dead Or Alive: Cherry". I wanted to be over-dramatic in my letters. While doing so, I turned on the waterworks. I was bawling because I thought she was dead. I know that villagers in Animal Crossing don't die, but I did feel like after going so long without me, she'd leave my place as a form of protest.

I thought about how much I'd miss her cute and smooth singing, her big sister attitude, and her rock n' roll vibes.

After writing my letters, I got some recipes I already had. I decided to go to Nook's Cranny to sell them.

And who the fuck do I see there?

Cherry.

That's right. CHERRY!

I cried even harder when I found her, knowing that everything is going to be okay.

My dad was like "Oh come on, it's just a damn game!" the entire time. Noticing the rain running down my face, as a result of uncontrollable PMS. When I'm on my period, I often cry for no reason. Crying just feels good. Sometimes when I want to cry (like in situations of tragedy), I can't. And so, I often cry over the little things. I become emotionally attached to everything.

I also learned that a lot of people have gone through the same thing, eventually finding that villager.

R.I.P Eddie Van Halen

We lost a guitar legend today.

Smoking killed him. He died of cancer this morning, according to his son Wolfgang.

He's up there jamming with Randy Rhoads and Dimebag.

He's the reason why I touched an electric guitar in the first place.

Will make a drawing for him when I don't have so much schoolwork.

My mom actually was the one to tell me the news.

Rest in power.

And boy, he was hot and cute. Devastated.

Freddie's Fur Coat

Freddie Mercury's birthday always makes me the saddest. I can imagine him being with all the legends up there. He'd be 74 if he was still alive, but I know he'd hate to make it to 70. He wanted his life to be short.

Freddie is wearing his fur coat from the "Killer Queen" music video in 1974.

Deaky 69

I do have something for John Deacon. Because he was born on August 19, 1951, that makes him 69 this year! Woohoo!

Apparently there was this one time Deaky got so drunk that when he heard a Queen song playing on the radio, he asked who the band was. This is my visualization of the event.

Deaky is wearing his awesome Space Invaders sweater circa 1981. He is wearing it in this picture below.

GOTTA YEET THAT SOUND YEAH YEAH YEAH — phylhrmnix: JOHN DEACON IN ...

I decided to chose "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" because a lot of people (including myself) thought the song was by Elvis Presley when they first heard it. In reality, Freddie wrote it in a bathtub.

Happy Birthday, Deaky!

Roger and his sparkly shoes.

Roger Taylor's birthday is the same as my mom's and Mick Jagger's. That is July 26. He is turning 71 this year.
This is one of my favorite outfits of Roger. He is so hot here.
I'll upload the original pics later.

Bri's Disco Outfit.

Brian May's birthday is tomorrow, so I made him this. 73 is a scary age, because Florian Schneider was 73 when he died. My grandpa was 74 when he died. Both died of cancer though. I'm also glad that Bri is doing okay after his heart attack. We could have lost him. *sobs*
Anyways, here's the picture I drew!
This outfit in particular is very colorful and funky. It's like something he'd wear to a disco. Here's the pic of him wearing the outfit below.
Very far out! This picture was taken in 1979. I obviously wasn't alive in 1979.

My First Drawing Of Kraftwerk

I decided to draw Kraftwerk. Since it's my first time drawing these German techno pioneers, I apologize if it isn't perfect. I will draw them more (in the T.E.E style) in the future.
This is based on the music video for "Trans Europe Express" in 1977.
Link for the music video
Here are some stills from the video.
 De Kraftwerk-catalogus (3): 'Trans-Europe Express' uit 1977 ...
I wouldn't mind making comics of them based on this style! Iggy Pop and David Bowie will make appearances in the comics.

Groovy Brian May drawing 2020

Online school has made me busy. I usually draw Brian May during May 1st when I have breaks at school. But during the Great Corona Virus Pandemic of 2020, I had to take a different approach. Whenever I wasn't playing Just Dance or learning how to play "Europe Endless" on a Minimoog (R.I.F.P Florian Schneider-Esleben) OR having to do online schoolwork or watching TV, I was working on this. Didn't have much time in a whole day, but today I finally managed to finish it and color everything in! Da da da da da da! Here it is!
The drawing is based on this shot by Michael Putland in 1973.
I love his necklace in that photoshoot.

I used:
  • Crayola Twistables
  • Black Sharpie
  • Orange Gellyroll Gold Shadow pen

R.I.P Florian Schneider (Fuck Cancer speech)

I'm a huge fan of Kraftwerk. I listen to their music every day.
When I heard about Florian's passing today, I was crying and shaking. Hit me even harder than Kobe's death.
He was a techno pioneer. He may be gone, but his legacy is immortal.
A lot of bands wouldn't exist without him.
Danke schön, Herr Schneider. You inspired me to buy a Minimoog.
I'm dedicating my album in the works to him and Gershon Kingsley.
I found out about his death while listening to "Europe Endless" and doing online school work. Upon finding out, I was in disbelief. I was like "HOLY SHIT!".
Then I saw it explode all over the internet. His death is confirmed. 2020 just keeps getting shittier.
Ralf and Florian founded Kraftwerk. Florian retired in 2008, but Ralf continues to perform today.
This afternoon, it was confirmed that Florian died of cancer at the age of 73.
If it weren't for COVID-19, then Flo probably would have been mentioned on the news.
It highlights how evil and unforgiving cancer is. It's worse than what COVID-19 will ever be.
COVID-19 may be reported as the most common cause of death in recent days, but that is without taking pre-existing conditions (such as heart disease and asthma) into consideration.
Cancer has killed over 2 million people this year alone. Unfortunately, Flo is part of those >2 million.
Yes, I know that COVID-19 is more contagious and it spreads asymptotically, but it's a virus with a mortality rate on par with a bad flu season! Don't believe the media's fear mongering horse shit!
Cancer, on the other hand, has existed much longer, sometimes happens for no reason, and the death sentence varies.
I would rather get COVID-19 than any terminal illness, such as cancer, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's.
The purpose of this post is to inform people that a global pandemic (as scary as it may sound) should not overshadow the age-old threat that is cancer.
Right now, a cure for COVID is more important. It will pass like all the other outbreaks we've had in history. However, the cure for cancer, would also be amazing.
Cancer has killed these icons:
  • Patrick Swayze
  • Stefan Karl (Robbie Rotten)
  • Steve Jobs
  • David Bowie (Who wrote a song about Florian Schneider)
  • Alan Rickman
  • Bob Marley
  • Farrah Fawcett
  • Edd Gould (Eddsworld)
  • Bob Denver (Gilligan)
  • Adam Yauch (Beastie Boys)
  • Ulysees S. Grant (Last words: "Water.")
But now it has killed our beloved flutist, the guy with the huge forehead, Florian.
Florian was, and still is, my favorite member of Kraftwerk. The most German looking Germans ever.
Tributes are pouring on Twitter. Those who have made tributes include, but are not limited to: Gary Numan, Thomas Dolby, and OMD.
Here's all 22 minutes of Autobahn.

I can drive.

It's been a while since I've posted on here, but now is the time I share great news.

I just passed the driving test and got my license today! I can't believe it myself!

My boyfriend still doesn't have his license, but he wouldn't dump me just because I got mine first and on the first try!

Other than the fact that I can drive of course, not much has really changed.

I'm still that that weird but hot fake blonde bitch with Asperger's. I'll still be interested in some obscure psychedelic shit from the 60s and 70s. I'll still look like Marcia Brady, even though my voice sounds more like Greg's than anyone else's.

Sometimes I just can't handle the responsibilities.

Bob Ross S21E13

"Florida's Glory", re-created with Windows 3.1 Paintbrush, originally from "The Joy of Painting" by Bob Ross.

He painted this 29 years ago today.

I thought it would be easier to do it on a canvas that is completely square.

Freddie in "I Want To Break Free"

I am unfortunately a day late because I was too busy to finish yesterday.

Hopefully, Freddie had a great time with his cats in heaven!

This is Freddie Mercury in drag.

Let's face it. Rogerina is prettier than me.

John Deacon, born on August 19th, 1951.

I'm a day late, because I have to deal with school.

I drew this, when I should probably be doing my homework.

It's Deaky doing that funny face.
This is the picture I based it off of. I found this photo online.
This isn't the only time he has done this face, though!
This is from the Sheer Heart Attack cover photoshoot in 1974.
