Bob Ross S21E13

"Florida's Glory", re-created with Windows 3.1 Paintbrush, originally from "The Joy of Painting" by Bob Ross.

He painted this 29 years ago today.

I thought it would be easier to do it on a canvas that is completely square.

Freddie in "I Want To Break Free"

I am unfortunately a day late because I was too busy to finish yesterday.

Hopefully, Freddie had a great time with his cats in heaven!

This is Freddie Mercury in drag.

Let's face it. Rogerina is prettier than me.

John Deacon, born on August 19th, 1951.

I'm a day late, because I have to deal with school.

I drew this, when I should probably be doing my homework.

It's Deaky doing that funny face.
This is the picture I based it off of. I found this photo online.
This isn't the only time he has done this face, though!
This is from the Sheer Heart Attack cover photoshoot in 1974.

Guess who's the birthday boy...

It's Rogah Taylah! 70 years young!
A lot of people were born on July 26, including my mom!
I decided to draw a silly Roger Taylor standing out from the group.
3 Non Blondes. The blonde one is Roger Taylor, the sexy drummer from Cornwall.
The original photo, taken by Mick Rock.

Bri's new outfit.

Brian May is currently on tour with Queen + Adam Lambert. This is one of his new outfits from the Rhapsody Tour. I am going to see them on August 18! I'm so excited!
I drew this as an early birthday present for him.
Reminds me of Slipknot and Daft Punk. It's badass.

May is here!

On May 1st, I always draw a picture of Brian May, an astrophysicist and the guitarist of legendary rock band Queen.

His last name is the name of a month.

I should've studied, but instead, I drew this picture, and then I colored it, and scanned it.
It is supposed to be a cartoon version of this picture, taken during a tennis match at Ridge Farm in 1975.
He looks a lot like a woman in this picture, but now that we've identified the person in this picture... we know that it is a man.

With those long legs, he must've been the inspiration of Waluigi!

Barcelona + Heading Home

I took the pictures in Barcelona on March 16. On March 18, I took the pictures in 2 different airports in the U.S. on my way back home.
I've always loved playing Smash Bros. with friends, but I seem to like Ultimate the most! Even more than Melee!
 Cruising downtown Barcelona.
Las Arenas used to be a bullring, but it is now used as a mall.
 Montjuïc during the day.
As you can see, those are ionic columns.
This is where they lit the torch during the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona!
This was a selfie I took in Atlanta. Watched a lot of movies on the plane from Madrid.
Back in Tampa. Here's the Winter ad. Fun fact: When I was a kid, I saw Winter when he was just a little tot! This was long before Dolphin Tale came out.

On the plane from Madrid to Atlanta, I watched a total of 4 movies:
  1. Bohemian Rhapsody
  2. Wreck It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet
  3. Toy Story
  4. Incredibles 2
On the plane from Atlanta to Tampa, I just watched a few episodes of Total Drama and Steven Universe. That flight was only an hour long, compared to Madrid to Atlanta which lasted 10 hours. I got 5 hours back.

Once I'm done testing, I will start making 3 different PowerPoint presentations:
  1. One for Italy
  2. One for Greece
  3. One for Spain
In the future, I would like to present those PowerPoints to the public. I will educate others about my cultural experiences.

Picasso Museum

Some of my favorite paintings Picasso painted. I had to make a stop.
First Communion: Picasso's early paintings were realistic.
Science and Charity: He was only 15 when he painted this. Younger than me now!
Dwarf Dancer: His style changes multiple times. One major element is brighter colors.
The Pigeons: As a kid, Picasso painted like an adult. As an old man, Picasso painted like a child.
There are several paintings in this set.
Las Meninas, the original by Diego Velázquez.
Las Meninas, in Picasso's style. One of them is a stick figure!
There are 57 paintings in total in this collection.
I made this statue dab.

Of course I bought something in that gift shop! I bought a nice postcard!

Montserrat

A beautiful mountain, just like Meteora in Greece.
For those who are uncultured swines, Montserrat means "serrated mountain".
Montserrat is a common Catalan name for females. They are nicknamed "Montsy".
One of those is Montserrat Caballé, a soprano opera singer who passed away last October.
 The Black Madonna
 This man... or... whatever.
 Entrance to the monastery.
 Inside the monastery.
Back to Montsy, she performed a duet with the legendary singer Freddie Mercury, titled "Barcelona". May the two rest in peace.
When I was at Montserrat, I went to a cheese shop.

Of course we didn't climb! We went up with our tour bus.

A Night in Barcelona

I had fish for dinner, but my parents prefer steak. They did not like the steak.
This guy's name is Mario. He's got rhythm.
After dinner, we went to the Magic Fountain!
This colorful fountain was first used in 1929 for the exposition, and it still operates today.
It's a wonderful show with music playing.
It is popular with both tourists and locals alike.
La Palau Nacional
This fountain reminds me of the electric boat parade in Disney World.
With that in mind, I haven't been to Disney World in 3 years, but I used to go there all the time!
I'm thinking of going to Disney World again soon, because I want to go to the new Toy Story land.
This was me posing that night.

My dream of going to Barcelona is now true. Do I have any more dreams? Oh... I do, and my dream is to go to Japan!

Gaudí Architecture

I'm finally at Barcelona! This is what I've been looking forward for this whole trip!
A projection of what Gaudí's church will look like when it's complete.
This is "La Casa Milà", am I right?
Gaudí's church, "La Sagrada Familia", is still under construction.
It expects to be completed by 2026.
That date is significant because it marks the 100th anniversary of Gaudí's death.
However, you can go inside the church.
The other side of the church that is much older and needs to be cleaned up.

Oh... by the way, today is my 16th birthday! Hooray!

Peñíscola

It is not pronounced like "Penis Cola". It sounds funny though. Still, it can't compare to Fucking in Austria or Dildo in Canada.
 It's mosaics!
People put their feet in the Mediterranean, but I didn't because I hate sand!
I don't know if this is supposed to be a palm tree or an asterisk...
We stayed in the docks to take pictures.
 AMAZING sandcastle!
That's the prettiest playground I've seen.
The correct pronunciation is "Pe-NYEE-sco-la". Don't forget the accent marks!
 Hehehehehehe... YOU FAIL!
 A nice fortress/castle.
These guys surely knew how to live.

Peñíscola sounds a lot like Pensecola, in Florida. BUT DON'T CONFUSE THEM!
