Taken at Athens, Greece!
Dates: March 27, 2018
Took a few pictures in the chapel.
Can you see the bell? I can.
The first set of Greek gods. (I believe)
And then the second set.
This is an outline representing what the Parthenon looked like at first.
The yellow stuff is the real thing, but the white is new.
This is the view from the museum window.
One of the pictures from my Instagram didn't translate to my blog very well. I apologize if that happens.

The Acropolis
This is where we saw the actual Parthenon.
I was absent for a couple days because I was busy.
Dates: March 27, 2018
LOOK AT IT! JUST LOOK AT WHAT I'M SEEING!
That's definitely the Odeon.
To be more specific, the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
This was from when we were on our way!
The Parthenon is currently being refurbished after decaying. Process began only 25 years ago.
Taken from the Acropolis, but that's just a portion of the 5 million people that live here.
We had to leave early because of all those kids!
But my god, that was beautiful!
Tomorrow, we will most likely be back to normal.

1896 Olympics + SNEAK PEAK!
I went to the stadium where the first modern Olympic games were held in 1896.
But guess what I also saw...
Dates: March 27, 2018
That's right! The actual fucking Parthenon!
Remember the Parthenon replica from Nashville? Now I'm seeing the real thing!
Me standing near the 1896 Olympic site in Athens.
This is indeed the Panathenaic Stadium.
Built with marble some millenia ago...
There's the stands!
An Olympic flag is there.
Got a pen at the gift shop too!
I never thought this day would come! Not even close!
You BETTER stay tuned! (Apologize if I'm a little late, my wifi is shit.)

Aegina
Aegina, the third and last Greek island I visited that day.
Dates: March 26, 2018
The trees are beautiful, even if they are naked.
Aegina was the first capital of modern Greece.
"The Sanctuary of Aphaia"
The first Greek temple I've been to.
A nice shot, hence the sun.
A better shot WITHOUT the sun.
A pretty shot of its ruins.
This is obviously not the Parthenon.
A modern chapel I visited there.
Looks quite interesting.
Unfinished, but at least the chandelier is complete.
Hmm... wonder what it'll look like when it's all done.
I'm actually pretty curious...
Again, very pretty.
A view from the outside!
This chapel is probably Orthodox, because we ARE in Greece.
Stay tuned tomorrow, because I'm gonna show you pics of me at the Acropolis of Athens!

Hydra Part 2
I think I took more pictures in Hydra than I did in any of the other islands.
Dates: March 26, 2018
This is otherwise known as "The Second Wave".
I'm making fun of "First Wave" which was the name of a New Wave radio station my dad used to listen to.
This was at a religious museum.
A lot of this is very pretty to me.
Look at all these... priests!
And their wands!
And even their capes!
How fancy and pretty...
Such detail.
That must have been the box he used!
Look! A chandelier!
Hi, Mom!
This was good pistachio ice cream.
They got horses as well!
Our last look of Hydra.
Tomorrow, I will post pics from Aegina, the last island I visited that day.
