Downtown Valencia

That McDonald's looks pretty cool.

But to be honest, I would rather eat McDonalds in America.

The Cathedral. But haven't we been to enough cathedrals?

Welcome to the jungle, where it gets worser everyday.

You can find a lot of "El Corte Inglés" stores in Spain, but I haven't seen them anywhere else I've been to!

Here's the bullring, but WAIT! What did that sign say?

This is a perfume store, called "Julia".

I can explain this. Julia is a name used in just about every culture and language. I just happen to be one of them, so I go by Julia-Helen to differentiate from the other Julias!

City of Arts and Sciences

Here is some modern architecture in Valencia.

And by modern, I mean as modern as it gets!

Went inside and checked out the gift shop. Bought a postcard.

This was built in October 2005, but I swear it looks newer than that.

 Pretty sculptures are surrounded by water.

 You cannot swim in the water, as it is clearly too shallow.

However, you can go canoeing!

I wasn't there for very long, but I was absolutely amazed by it nevertheless!

Carmen's House

This was our surprise trip our tour guide gave us.

 Carmen lives in a cave, which is pretty cool.

 It even has an old fashioned sewing machine.

 The flat screen TV is the only modern thing in the house.

 Other than that, it's all antique!

 It's like a blast from the past!

 Carmen must be very religious.

 Here's her garden.

 Here's the bathroom. Weird, isn't it?

There's actually a bunch of cave houses in this area.

Y'all remember Brain Quest? Well, they still make them in the U.S. too. You can find them at Barnes and Noble.

Carmen is a very small old lady, which explains why the house is so small and cramped.

Alhambra

This was personally one of my favorite parts of the trip.

 It was a palace originally built by Muslims.

 The Muslims made some incredible geometric designs.

 After 1492, the Christians took over this place.

 The fountain is still running.

 You just can't stop looking around! That's what's so cool about mosques!

 Now we visit the garden. This place is huge.

 It kinda looks like a star shape.

 It's so peaceful compared to the cities.

You could walk around here for HOURS and you'll never get bored!

I've seen that thing in America. I've actually had this coloring book for about 3 years, and I love it.

I even bought earrings with the designs from there when I went to the gift shop. After that, I was very tired.

Heading to Granada

We are still in Andalucia.

 Is that... fog?

 It's hard to get a good pic from the coach, but this was a goodie.

 Of course I got a kinder egg! In fact, I got 2 at this stop!

The only pic I have of Granada's cathedral. They don't allow photography inside.

I sometimes wish I could take photos inside the Cathedral, but I totally understand why they wouldn't allow it.

A night in Seville

We head to another olive oil farm first.

 2 big pots. The one in Greece only had 1.

 Types of Olive oil. Extra virgin is the best.

Those dresses are so pretty, but I would never pull that off!

On my way back, I saw a Toys-R-Us.
That's right! They still have Toys-R-Us in Spain! Too bad I couldn't get a good picture of it!

Seville Cathedral

This place took over a century to build. That explains all the detail.

 Now that's one fucking funeral!

 I have to admit that the churches where I live are pretty, but THIS makes those churches look lame.
