A night in Seville

We head to another olive oil farm first.
2 big pots. The one in Greece only had 1.
Types of Olive oil. Extra virgin is the best.
The machine used to make the olive oil.
They got a gift shop where I bought some olive oil bath gel!
 The chef.
Oh-ho! Is that an olive tree?
Here come the videos of the Flamenco!
Filming was not allowed until the last act, unfortunately.
Here's the opera singer!
I've always wanted to see a Flamenco dance, thanks to Rick Steves.
Those dresses are so pretty, but I would never pull that off!
That guy's good! You have to give him some praise!
Those were some good guitarists too!

On my way back, I saw a Toys-R-Us.
That's right! They still have Toys-R-Us in Spain! Too bad I couldn't get a good picture of it!

Seville Cathedral

This place took over a century to build. That explains all the detail.
 Now that's one fucking funeral!
Look at that big ass crocodile.
Damn it, the sun ruined this shot!
The clock (El reloj, en español)
The details just... blow my mind.
I have to admit that the churches where I live are pretty, but THIS makes those churches look lame.
 That's a fancy streetlight!
 Keep yourself alive!
That's funny. It's called "Hostal Florida".
Took us an hour to get back to our hotel.

Some of the cathedrals respectfully don't allow photography. This wasn't one of them.

Seville

I had a wonderful time in Seville. Had some Paella, and it was delicious!
Me at El Corte Inglés, with a Lip Smacker in my hand.
The next morning, I went to the Plaza de España.
 Look at the pigeons!
This part of Seville is beautiful. No wonder why scenes were filmed here!
This is the Alcázar in Seville. Yes, THE Alcázar.
You may recognize this area from Game of Thrones.
My parents love Game of Thrones. Me... not so much.
 Nonetheless, it was pretty neat!
The fountains are still in use!
This palace has a lot of history.
Oh, what a beautiful day it was!

The Alcázar, as I know, is the oldest royal palace still in use today in Europe.

Heading to Córdoba

Took us 4 hours to come here from Madrid.
One of the windmills we saw!
Here's the bull! We saw many of those during this trip!
"Well maybe it's stupid, but it's also dumb!"
Walking downtown to see what's poppin'!
 Mango helado in a cone.
 This is the Muslim part.
 It's basically half a mosque...
 And half a church!
Of course the Christians took over in 1492!
You can see the Muslim designs from here.
An angel statue stands, seeming very tall.
Our exit, a squared panorama.

Ultimately, this was a nice stop to hold me over.

More of Madrid

This is the Gran Vía where many tourists, and as well as locals, come to shop.
I forgot what this guy was doing, but it was probably something cool.
Here is the square! (Or la plaza, I should say.)
Buildings young and old come to stay!
Many kids love to hang out in this area.
 Great weather and great view!
Oh look! It's Pooh bear!
It's basically their Time Square. You see people wearing costumes and shopping all the time!
This is what they call "The Lollipop" and it is still under construction.
More people = more hospitals!

I did not have lunch that day. Because dinner time in Spain is normally around 8 pm, the only place I could find that was open was a mediocre pizza place. But keep in mind, WE WERE FUCKING STARVING! WE WEREN'T AWARE THAT THEY EAT AT DIFFERENT TIMES THAN US!

Toledo

No, not the Toledo in Ohio!
I think it's bait for the Americans.
Spotted another phone booth. I haven't seen a phone booth in 5 years back in Florida!
Many of the churches used to be mosques.
That door is ginormous. The picture makes it seem smaller.
 LET ME IN!
These are some very pretty buildings. Toledo es bonitísimo!
Rockin' my new glasses! I seem to get a new pair every trip!
Look! I can see my tour bus from a distance!
A square version of the panoramic picture I took. I blame Instagram. Still pretty, though!
This town was known for its religious freedom.

Mom got a nice necklace there. Since we share our clothes and jewelry, I sometimes wear it too.
